Frequency of recurrent dislocation after conservative management of acute traumatic shoulder dislocation

Dislocations of the shoulder are a serious and expensive issue. Younger males more likely than older men to experience dislocations, with overall incidence rates ranging between 23.91 23.12 per 100,000 person/years. After initial closure reduction sling immobilization traumatic anterior dislocation, this study will give us most recent accurate information about severity recurrence dislocation. Aim: The goal is determine frequency recurrent dislocation occurs following conservative treatment. Place Duration: In Orthopaedics Department, Khyber Teaching Hospital, Peshawar for six months duration from 28/6/2012 28/12/2018. Methods: A total 172 patients were observed during study. All had treatment, which included manual three weeks sling. order reduce bias, all treatments carried out by consultant orthopedic surgeon at least seven years experience, assisted senior postgraduate resident. To check instructed maintain regular follow-up months.
